Abrasion

Abrasion may refer to:

a wound consisting of superficial damage to the skin (wikipedia)

A chair has longevity just like any other manmade object. It fulfills its function until it is broken or no longer satisfies the needs or desires of a person. I enjoyed the process of re-imaging an object’s life after it reaches its death. The furniture may never be perfect like it used to be, but there’s still a kind of material economy that lies in its aesthetic as an object.

Thoughts On Writting Blogs

I decided to keep the hobby of writing blogs online as a complement to making stuff and keep track of various thought processes, which have been most likely forgotten. It is my wish that this blog can become a way to gather reflections and investigations on the current trends in architecture, or just anything.

About Me

Hi,This is Chenkun Ma’s Blog。 I’m currently a master student at the princeton school of architecture. I started this blog as an archive of my work for a class taught by Professor mitch mcewen on robotic fabrication.
